B400S lowers the volume of the source

I have encountered this problem.
We have installed an audio system at one of our customers who have three separate rooms (zones). As an audio source use the bluesound player B400S via various radios or music services, and here everything is fine.
While when there is a football match as audio source it uses the signal of a digital terrestrial TV decoder or satellite TV decoder via the optical output. the TV decoder directly to the system the volume remains very high and pleasant. The B400S player lowers the volume of the source a lot which in my case is a digital and satellite TV decoder, and consequently I have a very low volume and I can't amplify it even if I turn up the volume of my source (digital TV decoder or satellite tv)
What can we do to improve this problem. Thank you
