Crossfade and volume normalization

Please add the option to crossfade tracks from a playlist. I have a few customers that have switched from Sonos to Bluesound following our advice, but are now missing the option to crossfade and minimalise silences between tracks.

We have tried solving this by using different music services like Soundmachine and Tunify, but it looks as if it is a Bluos limitation (playing through Sonos or SM/Tunify hardware does offer crossfade).

Also volume normalization on tracks played from streaming services (that do not normalize themselves) would be helpful.

The omission of these functionalities is holding Bluesound back as a 100% solution in commercial settings and is even a risk of reverting recent Bluesound installs to a different brand altogether.

  Hi,

  Please can I add to Victor's comments.  Its hugely frustrating that crossfade is not available on playlists.  Can you please update me on progress with when we can potentially expect a solution to this problem.

  You can also forward to your quality assurance team that loss of business (both losing out on new projects as reverting BluOS installs to non-BluOS configurations) has already taken place in the past year. 

  Will not be pushing for new BluOS installs while waiting for a solution to avoid costly re-installs.
