The BSW150 Subwoofer settings allow you to configure various aspects of the audio output of BSW150. This article elaborates on the steps to access and configure the BSW150 settings screen in both Paired and Unpaired mode.
Unpaired mode
- In the BluOS Controller app, select the Rooms button to open the Player Selection Drawer. The list of players and subwoofers connected to the BluOS Controller app is displayed.
- Under the MY SUBWOOFERS section, select the Settings icon next to the BSW150 you would like to configure. The Subwoofer settings screen is displayed.
The Subwoofer settings screen allows you to configure the following:
- Subwoofer Volume: Slide to adjust the volume settings of BSW150.
- LFE Mode: Toggle to enable/disable the Low frequency Effect (LFE) mode.
- Phase: If the audio output of BSW150 is lagging or ahead, you can set the Phase to 0° or 180°, to synchronize the sine wave of the audio.
- WiFi: (Not an audio setting) Select WiFi to configure wireless network connection for your BSW150.
- Name: (Not an audio setting) Select to edit the subwoofer’s name.
- Indicator Brightness: (Not an audio setting) Select the required option (Normal, Dim, Off) to change the brightness of the LED band on the side of BSW150.
- Amplifier Standby: (Not an audio setting) Toggle to enable/disable low power consumption. If enabled, the power consumption is reduced to less than 3W when BSW150 is idle for more than 15 minutes. When resuming activity, expect a 2-second (approx.) delay in the audio output.
- Disable panel buttons: (Not an audio setting) Toggle to enable/disable the BSW150’s panel control buttons.
Paired mode
- In the BluOS Controller app, select the Rooms button to open the Player Drawer. The list of players and subwoofers connected to the BluOS Controller app are displayed.
- Under the MY SUBWOOFERS section, select the Pairing icon next to the BSW150 you would like to pair.
- Choose the Player/Group to which you would like to pair BSW150. Once paired, a success message is displayed, and the pairing is indicated with a small subwoofer icon on the Player or Group.
- Select the Player/Group’s context menu and select Audio Settings from the pop-up menu. The Audio settings screen of the Player or Group is displayed.
- Select Subwoofer to edit the settings of the paired BSW150. The paired Subwoofer Settings screen is displayed.
The paired Subwoofer settings screen allows you to configure the following:
- Subwoofer: Toggle to enable/disable the application of crossover.
- Disabled: Full analog signals are provided to the Analog outputs.
- Enabled: A crossover is applied to send sound above the crossover point (80 Hz default) to the Left and Right Analog output of the paired Player/Group. Sound below the crossover point is sent to BSW150.
- Crossover: Slide to adjust the subwoofer crossover point. The default crossover is 80hz.
- Subwoofer Trim: Slide to adjust the audio output of BSW150 relative to the main volume of the paired Player/Group.
- Phase: If the audio output of BSW150 is lagging or ahead of the paired Player/Group, you can set the phase as 0° or 180°, to synchronize the sine wave of the audio.
- WiFi: (Not an audio setting) Select WiFi to configure a wireless network connection for your paired BSW150.
- Name: (Not an audio setting) Select to edit the subwoofer’s name.

- Unpair: Select to unpair BSW150 from the current paired Player/Group. You can pair BSW150 again to a new Player/Group by selecting the Pairing icon next to BSW150 in the Player Selection Drawer under MY SUBWOOFERS.
